Changing Text in References

Sometimes it is necessary to make changes in some fields across the entire library. One possibility, of course, is to open each reference and make the change that way, but fortunately there are smarter solutions in EndNote.

You can move or copy information from one field to another. You then move / copy all information from the starting point and choose how to relate to the target field’s possible content.

See more on how to Move / copy text between fields.

In addition to moving and/or copying text, you can also replace or change the text in a given field. You choose whether to add, subtract, or replace text in its entirety.
