Installation of additional files
The EndNote program comes with thousands of additional files for formatting citations and references, for connecting to external literature databases and for importing references from different databases.
You may find that a regular installation of the program only includes a small selection of these files. In that case, it is possible to reinstall them.
How to:
- Select «Customizer» from the «EndNote X9» menu
- Check the categories you wish to install to include all the files in the category or click the triangle to the left of the category to select files from a list.
- «Connections» – contains files for connection to literature databases
- «Import Filters» – contains files for import from literature bases
- «Output Styles» – contains files for formatting citations and references
- «Connections» – contains files for connection to literature databases
- Click
twice (in different dialog boxes) to start the installation
